Celebration of 2019 Adventures

Thursday 27 February 2020 – URC Church, Park Green, Macclesfield, SK11 7NA. 7.30-9pm (refreshments from 7pm).

Review of 2019 Guiding adventures to include international trips and section adventures plus presentation of girls awards such as D of E and Chief Guides challenge.

All welcome to come along and share the adventures.

Cheshire Hike

It’s the 54th Cheshire Hike, but not as you know it.
This year will see an all-new event, with some really exciting changes including brand new age sections, bigger team sizes, and one base camp with evening entertainment.
The event will be held on 4-5th April 2020, and is open to Scouts and Guides between the ages of 10½ and 18. Bookings are now open:

First Response

The process for booking onto the First Response courses has changed slightly for 2020. We are slowly moving towards an on-line booking system, the first part of this process is to do the booking on the following links. Once you have selected the date you would like to attend, please click on the relevant link and complete the form. Payment is then to be sent to Rosie Zubko, you will find her details on each form.  A Safe Space 

As you all aware, all volunteers within Girlguiding must have the correct level of ‘A Safe Space’ training for their role by December 2020, however we would really like to be at that point before December. Mentor 2020

These evenings are for Leadership Qualification (LQ) mentors and those interested in becoming an LQ mentor. They are an opportunity to update skills and knowledge, explore new resources available, dispel common myths about the LQ and YLQ, Air and Share.

Coffee at 7pm and the session runs 7.30-9pm.

Please note, you may choose to attend any session, not just the one in your Division.

DofE Evenings and Expeditions

These evenings are for girls who are completing their DofE and will all the skills they need in preparation for the Expeditions.

​These 3 dates are for the Expedition training evenings and will take place from 19.15-21.15pm at Danesford Community Centre, West Road, Congleton, CW12 4EU

These dates are for Training Walks which will provide ideal opportunities for girls who are preparing for an Expedition, please see the County Website for registration and consent forms:

There will also be a camp skills day taking place on 29 March, which will be for DofE and those participating in the Cheshire Hike.

Cheshire Cricket Board

Cheshire Cricket Board would like to offer Rainbow and Brownie units an evening to play some fun and exciting cricket based games  from approximately 24th February 2020 up until the start of the summer term which would be around the 20th April.​
