It’s the 54th Cheshire Hike, but not as you know it.
This year will see an all-new event, with some really exciting changes including brand new age sections, bigger team sizes, and one base camp with evening entertainment.
The event will be held on 4-5th April 2020, and is open to Scouts and Guides between the ages of 10½ and 18. Bookings are now open: www.cheshirehike.org.uk/booking-information
The process for booking onto the First Response courses has changed slightly for 2020. We are slowly moving towards an on-line booking system, the first part of this process is to do the booking on the following links. Once you have selected the date you would like to attend, please click on the relevant link and complete the form. Payment is then to be sent to Rosie Zubko, you will find her details on each form. As you all aware, all volunteers within Girlguiding must have the correct level of ‘A Safe Space’ training for their role by December 2020, however we would really like to be at that point before December. Please see the link below to the Girlguiding website where it provides the information as to who needs which level:
If you need Level 4, please follow the links provided as these sessions have been arranged by the Region trainers and most will take place at Girlguiding NWE Region office.

These evenings are for Leadership Qualification (LQ) mentors and those interested in becoming an LQ mentor. They are an opportunity to update skills and knowledge, explore new resources available, dispel common myths about the LQ and YLQ, Air and Share.
Coffee at 7pm and the session runs 7.30-9pm.
Please note, you may choose to attend any session, not just the one in your Division.
