Lots of interest in Sparkle Day, Rainbows took part in Sparkle badge competition.

Nantwich District Report

4th Nantwich Brownies – cake sale for the Poppy appeal and are joining with other local units to attend a day at Alsager Guide Hall.

Guiding was represented at both Audlem and Nantwich Remembrance parades.

A number of girls have achieved their Gold Awards in the District.

Wistaston District Report

  • Some leaders have left leaving 2 Units at risk of closure fortunately other Leaders have stepped in to run the Units.
  • 1st Guide Unit closed due to low numbers
  • Frozen 2 – a few Units are attending
  • Units took part in Remembrance services in local church or town centre

South East District

District Commissioner leaving at Christmas, discussions ongoing regarding replacement.

Guide Leader left due to change in circumstances, a Brownie Leader and their unit team have taken over the unit, relocated to their meeting place to prevent closure and will seek volunteers to join the team.

Haslington Units attended Remembrance walk to village Cenotaph, wreaths laid by both Brownie units – for the first time our Guiding units were the only Youth groups to attend the church service after and carry flags into church.
